Taxonomy
Tersus crowsoni was named by Ponomarenko (2006). Its type specimen is NHM, In. 53949, an exoskeleton, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Flatstones, Stonebarrow, Charmouth (Jackson collection), which is in an Obtusum marine mudstone in the United Kingdom.
