Taxonomy
Lycoria euryopteris was named by Hong (1981). It is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Xilutian coal mine, Fushun amber (late 1970s collection), which is in a Ypresian terrestrial amber in China.
It was recombined as Eosciaritis euryopteris by Hong (2002), Hong (2002), Oliveira and Amorim (2021).
