Taxonomy
Cupedites minutissimus was named by Ponomarenko (1985). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is PIN 1256/33, an elytra, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Krasnoyarsk (PIN collection 1256), which is in a Toarcian fluvial horizon in the Makarova Formation of the Russian Federation.
