Eomycetophila asymmetrica
Taxonomy
Eomycetophila asymmetrica was named by Kovalev (1990). Its type specimen is PIN 3063/1032, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Daya locality, outcrop 66/4 (PIN collection 3063), which is in a Tithonian terrestrial horizon in the Glushkovo Formation of the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Eomycetophila.
