Cordulagomphus (Procordulagomphus) xavieri

Taxonomy
Procordulagomphus xavieri was named by Nel and Escuillé (1994). Its type specimen is MNHN-LP-R 10406, an exoskeleton (complete female), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Crato (MNHN collection), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large carbonate in the Crato Formation of Brazil.

It was recombined as Cordulagomphus (Procordulagomphus) xavieri by Bechly (2007), Bechly (2007).
