Taxonomy
Protasmanina nana was named by Riek (1954). Its type specimen is UQ F14347, a wing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Redbank Plains, which is in a Ypresian lacustrine - small mudstone in the Redbank Plains Formation of Australia.
