Taxonomy
Mylacris dubia was named by Handlirsch (1906). Its type specimen is USNM 38746, a tegmen, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Lorberry gap, Sharp Mountain, Tremont, which is in a Westphalian C/Westphalian D terrestrial siliciclastic in Pennsylvania.
