Mesopleciella longipennis
Taxonomy
Palaeohesperinus longipennis was named by Rohdendorf (1962). Its type specimen is PIN 358/95, a wing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Sogyuty, Issyk-Kul (PIN Collection 358), which is in a Hettangian/Sinemurian lacustrine - small siliciclastic in the Dzhil Formation of Kyrgyzstan. It is the type species of Palaeohesperinus.
It was recombined as Mesopleciella longipennis by Blagoderov (1996).
