Hermaeomyia baisica

Taxonomy
Hermaeomyia baisica was named by Mostovski (1995). Its type specimen is PIN 3064/9002, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Baissa (PIN collection 3064, bed 15), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large marl/siltstone in the Zaza Formation of the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Hermaeomyia.
