Taxonomy
Mesoneta minuta was named by Sinitshenkova (2000). Its type specimen is PIN 4683/1, a nymph, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Borehole TSG-6, Sample 8402, depth 6447.8-6457.1 m, which is in a Triassic terrestrial horizon in the Varengayakhinskaya Formation of the Russian Federation.
