Scolytus tshernjaki
Taxonomy
Scolytus tshernjaki was named by Petrov and Zherikhin (2000). Its type specimen is MNHN IPM-R.55222, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Montagne d'Andance, Saint-Bauzile, Privas (MNHN collection), which is in a Turolian crater lake diatomite/volcaniclastic in France.
