Eoptychoptera magna

Taxonomy
Proptychoptera magna was named by Lukashevich (1993). Its type specimen is PIN 2997/3028, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Karatau-Mikhailovka (PIN collection 2997), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large siltstone in the Karabastau Formation of Kazakhstan.

It was recombined as Eoptychoptera magna by Lukashevich et al. (1998), Lukashevich and Arillo (2016).
