Taxonomy
Lathrobium balticum was named by Pasnik and Kubisz (2002). Its type specimen is ISEA 1/1529/187/00, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic Amber, ISEA Krakow collection, which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in Poland.
