Panorpodes brevicauda

Taxonomy
Panorpa brevicauda was named by Hagen (1856). It is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic Amber, Danziger Naturkundemuseum Menge collection, which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in Poland.

It was recombined as Electropanorpa brevicauda by Carpenter (1931); it was recombined as Panorpodes brevicauda by Carpenter (1954), Willmann (1978) and Soszyńska-Maj and Krzemiński (2013).
