Vorkutopterum monstrosum

Taxonomy
Vorkutopterum monstrosum was named by Aristov (2005). Its type specimen is PIN 1631/239, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Yun'yaga coalfield, borehole YuK-1, depth 247.6 m, which is in a Kungurian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Lek-Vorkuta Formation of the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Vorkutopterum.
