Taxonomy
Danjiangella tenuispinosa was named by Yang et al. (1993). It is not extant. Its type locality is Xiuzigou, bed 7, which is in a Taijangian/Wangcunian slope limestone/shale in the Xijiadian Formation of China. It is the type species of Danjiangella.
