Taxonomy
Tricyphona sepulchralis was named by Alexander (1931). Its type specimen is Konigsberg B 903, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic amber, Konigsberg collection, which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in the Russian Federation.
