Eurhinus occultus
Taxonomy
Eurhinus occultus was named by Scudder (1876). Its type specimen is Station 14, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Near Castello's Ranch, Florissant, which is in a Chadronian lacustrine - large shale in the Florissant Formation of Colorado.
It was recombined as Geralophus occultus by Scudder (1893), Wickham (1911), Wickham (1912), Yunakov and Kirejtshuk (2011), Legalov (2015).
