Kazachothrips triassicus
Taxonomy
Kazachothrips triassicus was named by Shmakov (2004). Its type specimen is PIN 2497/297, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Kenderlyk, Akkolka River (PIN collection 2497), which is in a Norian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Tologoi Formation of Kazakhstan. It is the type species of Kazachothrips.
