Taxonomy

Dicladoblatta subtilis was named by Schlechtendal (1906). Its type specimen is Coll Halle Pl XXVI fig 26, 27, a tegmen, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Wettin, which is in a Stephanian C terrestrial shale in the Ottweiler Stufe Formation of Germany.

It was recombined as Sysciophlebia subtilis by Schneider (1978), Schneider (1982), Schneider (1983).

Synonyms

Berlichia wettinensis was named by Schlechtendal (1906). It is an impression. Its type locality is Wettin, which is in a Stephanian C terrestrial shale in the Ottweiler Stufe Formation of Germany.

It was synonymized subjectively with Sysciophlebia subtilis by Schneider (1978).
Sysciophlebia angustipennis was named by Schlechtendal (1906). It is an impression. Its type locality is Wettin, which is in a Stephanian C terrestrial shale in the Ottweiler Stufe Formation of Germany.

It was synonymized subjectively with Sysciophlebia subtilis by Schneider (1978).
