Taxonomy
Permosialis triassica was named by Novokshonov and Zhuzhgova (2004). Its type specimen is PIN 2555/2066, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Madygen, PIN collection 2555, Dzhailoucho area, which is in a Ladinian lacustrine - small siliciclastic in the Madygen Formation of Kyrgyzstan.
