Taxonomy
Chresmodella integra was named by Bode (1953). It is an impression. Its type locality is Hondelage, Braunschweig, which is in a Toarcian offshore mudstone in the Posidonia Shale Formation of Germany.

It was recombined as Schesslitziella integra by Ansorge (1996).
