Syntemna mesozoica
Taxonomy
Syntemna mesozoica was named by Blagoderov (1995). Its type specimen is PIN 3064/9857(9895), an exoskeleton (female fly missing legs and antenae), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Baissa (PIN collection 3064, bed 31), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large marl/siltstone in the Zaza Formation of the Russian Federation.
