Pellornis mikkelseni
Taxonomy
Pellornis mikkelseni was named by Bertelli et al. (2011). Its type specimen is MGUH 29278, a partial skeleton (incomplete skeleton with plumage remains, wing, pectoral girdle, left femur, left tibiotarsus, and vertebrae), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Northeast of Sundby, which is in a Ypresian deep subtidal siltstone in the Fur Formation of Denmark.
