Starostinella nordica
Taxonomy
Starostinella nordica was named by Nowinski (1997). Its type specimen is ZPAL V.XXV/1 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Uppermost part of Festningen section, Kapp Starostin, which is in a Changhsingian marine marl/shale in the Kapp Starostin Formation of Svalbard and Jan Mayen. It is the type species of Starostinella.
