Taxonomy
Cleiothyris baracoodensis was named by Etheridge (1903) [Cleiothyris macleayana var. baracoodensis]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Baracooda Pool, Arthur River, which is in a Sakmarian marine siliciclastic in Australia.
It was recombined as Cleiothyridina baracoodensis by Archbold and Shi (1993).
