Laetopsia mongolica
Taxonomy
Hydrophilopsia mongolica was named by Ponomarenko (1987). Its type specimen is PIN 3664/1567, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Shin-Khuduk (PIN collection 3664), which is in an Aptian lacustrine sandstone/marl in the Shinekhudag Formation of Mongolia.
It was recombined as Laetopsia mongolica by Fikáček et al. (2012).
