Pliolagostomus friasensis
Taxonomy
Pliolagostomus friasensis was named by Vucetich (1984). Its type specimen is MLP 15-419, a mandible (fragmento mandibular derecho con p4-m3), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Canyons of Lower valley of Collón Cura River, which is in a Colloncuran terrestrial horizon in the Collón Cura Formation of Argentina.
