Neosaivodus flagstaffensis
Taxonomy
Neosaivodus flagstaffensis was named by Hodnett et al. (2012). Its type specimen is MNA V10488, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is MNA locality 1645, Kachina Village, which is in a Kungurian open shallow subtidal limestone in the Kaibab Formation of Arizona. It is the type species of Neosaivodus.
