Notogale mitis

Taxonomy
Pharsophorus mitis was named by Ameghino (1897). Its type specimen is MACN 52-368, a mandible (fragment of mandibular ramus with basal portions of m2-3), and it is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Notogale mitis by Loomis (1914), Patterson and Marshall (1978), Marshall (1978), Marshall (1981) and Villarroel and Marshall (1982).
