Dolichostylodon saltensis
Taxonomy
Dolichostylodon saltensis was named by García López and Powell (2009). Its type specimen is PVL 6219, a partial skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is El Simbolar (upper Lumbrera), which is in an Eocene lacustrine mudstone/siltstone in the Lumbrera Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Dolichostylodon.
