Rhombomylus nitidulus
Taxonomy
Matutinia nitidulus was named by Li et al. (1979). Its type specimen is IVPP V5354, a partial skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Changpiliang, IVPP Loc. 76003, which is in an Eocene terrestrial horizon in the Lingcha Formation of China. It is the type species of Matutinia.
It was recombined as Rhombomylus nitidulus by Dashzeveg and Russell (1988).
