Panorpidium lithophila

Taxonomy
Asilicus lithophilus was named by Germar (1842). It is an impression. Its type locality is Kelheim (BSPG collection), which is in a Tithonian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Solnhofen Formation of Germany.

It was recombined as Elcana lithophila by Handlirsch (1906), Carpenter (1932), Zessin (1987); it was recombined as Panorpidium lithophila by Eades et al. (2012).
