Procaroloameghinia pricei
Taxonomy
Procaroloameghinia pricei was named by Marshall (1982). Its type specimen is DGM 805-M and 924-M, a mandible (Fragments of right dentary), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is São José de Itaborai, which is in an Eocene fissure fill marl in the Itaboraí Formation of Brazil. It is the type species of Procaroloameghinia.
