Yamatocetus canaliculatus
Taxonomy
Yamatocetus canaliculatus was named by Okazaki (2012). Its type specimen is KMNH VP 000.017, a partial skeleton (skull and skeleton), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kitakyushu City, which is in a Chattian marine sandstone in the Jinnobaru Formation of Japan.
