Mesoblattina anceps
Taxonomy
Blattina anceps was named by Giebel (1856). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Durlston Bay, Middle Purbeck, Swanage (Brodie collection), which is in a Berriasian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal limestone in the Durlston Formation of the United Kingdom.
It was recombined as Aporoblattina anceps by Scudder (1886); it was recombined as Mesoblattina anceps by Handlirsch (1906).
