Marada arcanum
Taxonomy
Marada arcanum was named by Black (2007). Its type specimen is QM F42738, a mandible (right dentary with P3, M1-4), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Hiatus Site, which is in a Chattian terrestrial carbonate in the Carl Creek Limestone Formation of Australia. It is the type species of Marada.
