Panochthus bullifer
Taxonomy
Panochthus bullifer was named by Burmeister (1872). Its type specimen is MACN-Pv 1761, an osteoderm (fragmento de la región postero-dorsal de la coraza dorsal, incluido parte del borde posterior, y tubo caudal y, un pie anterior derecho casi completo con cúbito), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Valle de Traslasierra - Heredia Cliffs, which is in a Montehermosan/Chapadmalalan floodplain gravel in the Brochero Formation of Argentina.
It was recombined as Propanochthus bullifer by Burmeister (1874) and Castellanos (1925).
