Warendja wakefieldi

Taxonomy
Warendja wakefieldi was named by Hope and Wilkinson (1982). Its type specimen is NMV P48980, a mandible (right mandibular fragment with P3, M2-M5), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Encore Site, which is in a Tortonian lacustrine limestone in Australia. It is the type species of Warendja.
