Paleocarcinophora lithophila

Taxonomy
Labidura lithophila was named by Scudder (1876). Its type specimen is MCZ 424, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Florissant (A.E. Foote collection), which is in a Chadronian lacustrine - large shale in the Florissant Formation of Colorado.

It was recombined as Labiduromma lithophilum by Scudder (1890); it was recombined as Labiduromma lithophila by Handlirsch (1907); it was recombined as Paleocarcinophora lithophila by Engel and Chatzimanolis (2010).
