Procoptodon gilli
Taxonomy
Procoptodon gilli was named by Merriless (1965). Its type specimen is NMV P21609, a mandible (left and right juvenile dentaries missing most of ascending rami), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Shire Quarry, which is in a Pleistocene terrestrial horizon in Australia.
