Shengjingornis yangi
Taxonomy
Shengjingornis yangi was named by Li et al. (2012). Its type specimen is PMOL AB00179, a skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Toudaoyingzi, Jianchang, which is in an Aptian lacustrine sandstone/mudstone in the Jiufotang Formation of China. It is the type species of Shengjingornis.
