Taxonomy
Hederella was named by Hall (1883) [Sepkoski's age data: S Wenl C Step-u Sepkoski's reference number: 2,1066]. It is not extant. It is the type genus of Hederellidae.
It was assigned to Reptariidae by Bassler (1953); to Cyclostomata by Sepkoski (2002); and to Hederellidae by Lisitsyn (1998), González-Mora et al. (2018).
