Diffuse porosity, solitary and rarely in radial multiple series of 2 and clusters, vessels small to medium sized, and scarce. Vessel elements short. Simple perforation plates. Intervessel pits bordered and alternate. Rays 2-3 or multiseriate, some uniseriate, thin and wide. Fibers poligonal and quadrangular in section, very abundant, in radial arrangement or irregular arrangement. Septate fibers. Axial parenchyma paratracheal and apotracheal, scarce and axial parenchyma diffuse-in-aggregates. |
