Retitricolpites adeptus was named by González-Guzmán (1967). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is Slide V-I-89. Loc: 116.9X22 (micr. P0 - 58), a seed repro (Pollen grain), and it is a 3D fossil preserving soft parts.
