Diagnosis
Reference | Diagnosis | |
---|---|---|
A. E. González-Guzmán 1967 | Pollen grain monocolpate, form globular to ovoid; sculpture type echinate. Echinae relatively short, curved at the apex. Length of echidna about 1.5 μ. In most of the specimens the furrow was inconspicuous and that is the reason why it is not described. Grain probably intestate. Grain somewhat resembling some Mauritiides species, but the most important difference is that the spines have no protruding 'root' at the inner side of the exine. |
