Taxonomy
Racemonocolpites romanus was named by González-Guzmán (1967). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is Slide F-III-72-487 (Catatumbo). Loc: 43.1X122.6 (micr. P0-58), a seed repro (Pollen grain), and it is a 3D fossil preserving soft parts.

Furrow inconspicuous, blotted out by the overlying sculpture-elements. |
