Taxonomy
Megolisthaerus minor was named by Cai and Huang (2013). Its type specimen is NIGP 153697, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Huangbanjigou, Shangyuan Town, NIGP collection, which is in a Barremian lacustrine - large mudstone in the Yixian Formation of China.
