Thayeralinus fraternus
Taxonomy
Mesostaphylinus fraternus was named by Zhang et al. (1992). Its type specimen is L84139, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Nanligezhuang, Tuanwang Town, Laiyang City (Shandong Prov. Mus.), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large shale in the Laiyang Formation of China.
It was recombined as Thayeralinus fraternus by Solodovnikov and Yue (2013).
