Gondvanoptilon brasiliense
Taxonomy
Gondvanoptilon brasiliense was named by Rösler et al. (1981). Its type specimen is GP/1T505, a wing (nearly complete wing), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Pedreira da Mineração, Amaral Machado, which is in a Kungurian lacustrine - large siltstone in the Irati Formation of Brazil. It is the type species of Gondvanoptilon.
